The Village Clerk’s Office hours will be modified from June 15 to June 22 as staff will be out of the office. Attempt Fraud through Mail. The Police Department recently received a complaint from an elderly resident that they received the attached letter in their U.S. mail. If you call the listed number they will tell you that you won millions of dollars, but you need to send them $1,800.00 to insure the money. THIS IS A SCAM / FRAUD, DO NOT SEND MONEY. Please let your family and friends know about this to protect them from this scam. We have also passed this on to our local post office. As always if you suspect you are a victim of fraud please contact the Big Bend Police Department at 262-446-5070.
Wood chips are available for Village residents in the concrete bin located directly across from the Big Bend Public Works Department Building located at W231 S9110 Riverside Drive. The Big Bend Market is returning this year. The market will be held on the following Saturday’s, May 19, June 16, August 11, September 15 and October 20, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Market is at the Big Bend Village Hall at W230 S9185 Nevins Street. 12’x12′ spots are still available for $25 per a market or $100 for all 5 market days.
